exactly!!! im rewatching this arc for the 3rd if not 4th time and everytime i think to myself that Oda is a true genius, and One Piece is a masterpiece that is otherworldly and nothing will top this masterpiece ever ever ever ever!! everything in the show is extremely well thought out and done, planned and wrote, theres no single mistake in his writing!! the anime sure is at fault for this unnecessary dragging but thats for sure not his mistake whatsoever so yeah to all who like to call one piece names bc its long/slow paced and have dragging in the anime dumb go read the manga and enjoy it without this dragging

I thought powers of fire and ice and darkness were pretty OP, but being able to cause earthquakes/tsunami at will... well in a world largely dominated by water, that is possibly THE most OP power possible to large groups of people. Like a wizard aoe spell that takes 10 min to load up but when it hits, it does massive dmg. Imprecise but incredibly powerful. Slightly nerfed if said ice user happens to be around though.
